Informal Carers and Others

Informal Carers and Others TRIE

Informal Carers include any person, such as a family member, friend or neighbour, who is giving regular, ongoing assistance to another person without payment for the care given. Some are credentialed, for example, have experience in nursing, while others have only minimal training or experience. It is important for informal carers to receive support, training and recognition for the work they do, especially with building of their digital skills and eHealth education.
